Project Overview

Following the successful delivery of a cinematic 3D commercial for a licensed Dodge Ram seller in the Netherlands, we revisited the project to enhance and refine it for our own studio showcase. While the original project was heavily influenced by the client’s specifications, we saw an opportunity to push the artistic and technical boundaries further, applying our own creative vision, color grading, and refined animations to truly highlight the power and design of the Dodge Ram.

With more time and full creative control, our team reworked the vehicle’s animation, changed the color scheme, enhanced the interior details, and fine-tuned the cinematography to create a visually superior and technically refined version of the original commercial.

Our Approach

Refined 3D Vehicle Model & Color Customization

• Reworked the Dodge Ram’s exterior color, enhancing reflections, metallic surfaces, and paint finish.
• Added new materials and textures for improved realism and branding versatility.

Interior Enhancements for Greater Detail & Realism

• Improved leather textures, dashboard lighting, and trim details to achieve a more premium look.
• Optimized the interior lighting setup to ensure better depth, realism, and material contrast.

Cinematic Animation & Camera Work Redesign

• Adjusted camera angles, motion paths, and shot timing to create a more dynamic, engaging visual flow.
• Focused on dramatic lighting, slow-motion sequences, and high-speed transitions to emphasize the power and performance of the Ram.

Real-Time & Offline Rendering Adjustments

• Utilized Unreal Engine for fluid motion sequences while keeping high-fidelity shots in Redshift for a polished final look.
• Applied motion blur, VFX enhancements, and compositing refinements in After Effects to perfect the final aesthetic.

Results & Impact

• Successfully created a refined, visually stunning version of the Dodge Ram commercial for our internal portfolio and marketing materials.
