Pixels2Pixels Studio collaborated with the Gallery of Naïve Art in Kovačica to develop VR Kovačica, a groundbreaking virtual reality experience that invites visitors to step inside the vibrant world of Serbian naïve art. Officially launched on March 9, 2025, this permanent installation represents a bold fusion of tradition and modern technology, preserving cultural heritage through immersive digital storytelling.

The experience allows users to interact with paintings in a fully virtual space—walking through landscapes, exploring rural life scenes, and connecting emotionally with the spirit of a globally celebrated artistic community.

Our Approach

Blending Tradition with Immersive Technology

The heart of VR Kovačica lies in honoring the cultural identity of the region while enhancing accessibility through immersive design. The project was conceptualized by Ivana Svetlik, whose vision married deep cultural appreciation with the power of interactive VR.
